And implemented the study comparing two treatments in two different groups, but only one type of behavior in a group that is learning with the application of learning theory Robert E Slavin. Samples of this study are all learners class XI MAN Sidenreng Rappang of 27 people. This study obtained data using research instruments purporting observation sheets and test the result. The data obtained in this study were analyzed by anlisis qualitative, descriptive statistical analysis. Qualitative results of the analysis show that there is a positive change in student attitude. The changes can be seen from many students who do dingpinkan activity and lack of activity that students who do not want at the time of the learning process. While the quantitative results of the analysis show that the learning outcomes of students showing good results. Case, we can see the value of the average size of 84.26 obtained from an ideal score of 100. In classical completeness of 100%. This study was conducted in two cycles</em> <em>each of the three learning sessions and one session conducted tests of learning outcomes.</em> <em>The research work procedures each cycle lasts four stages, namely:</em> <em>(1) planning,</em> <em>(2)</em> <em>action, (3) observ</em><em>ing</em><em>, and (4) reflecti</em><em>ve</em><em>. Data collection techniques used in this study are data on learning outcomes by giving a test taken at the end of each cycle,</em> <em>while the data on student activity taken using observation sheets during the learning process takes place in the classroom</em><em>. </em><em>Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, it can be concluded that the results students studying mathematics</em> <em>of class XI IPS<sub>2</sub> SMA Negeri 3 Pare</em><em>p</em><em>are has increased from cycle I to cycle II. Subjects in this study is class </em><em>VIII<sub>8</sub></em> <em>students</em><em> of SMP Negeri </em><em>1</em> <em>Parepare</em> <em>47</em><em> in total</em><em> learners. This study was conducted in two cycles each lasting 4 meetings and implemented test every cycle end of the cycle.</em> <em>Data collection was</em><em> performed using achievement test and observation. The collected data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results quantitatively indicating that an increase in mathematics achievement class </em><em>VIII</em> <em>students</em><em> of SMP Negeri </em><em>1</em> <em>Parepare</em> <em>through the</em><em> application of learning models</em><em> Word Square</em><em>. It can be seen from the results of learning in the first cycle the number of students who pass the study only </em><em>47</em><em> people</em><em> with an average score of </em><em>&nbsp;</em><em>75</em> <em>&nbsp;</em><em>and the second cycle</em><em> the number of students who pass the study there were </em><em>46</em> <em>students from</em> <em>47</em> <em>students with</em><em> an average score of 8</em><em>2</em><em>,</em> <em>77</em><em>.</em> <em>I</em><em>n the second cycle</em><em> occurred in the classical mastery learning which is 100% of the number of students who achieve a score of at least 65% of the ideal score. This research was conducted in two cycles, each of which is three times the learning process and one time meetings conducted the test results of the study. The working procedures research each cycle lasting four stages, namely: (1), planning (2) the implementation of the action, (3) observations, and (4) Reflection. The techniques of collection data is used at this research is data about the results of the study were taken by giving it a test at the end of each cycle, whereas data about activity of students and teachers were taken by using the observation sheets during the learning process in the classroom.</em></p> <p><em>Based on the results of research and discussion for two cycles, then it can be concluded that the results of learning mathematics grade VIII<sub>4</sub> SMP Negeri 8Parepare increase from cycle 1 to cycle II. This research is done in two cycle which on cycle I consisting of thrice meet learning process and once appointment is done essays cycle whereas on cycle II consisting of thrice meet learning process and once appointment essays cycle. Data collecting tech that is utilized in this research which is data about studying result took by gives essay each cycle final, meanwhile data about teacher activity and participant activity teach by use of been taken observation sheet upon happens it learning process at within class. </em></p> <p><em>Base observational result and study up to two cycles, therefore gets to be concluded that mathematicses learned result participant be taught by class VIII.<sub>2 </sub>SMP is Country 2 Suppa experiences step-ups of cycles I go to cycles II.
