Challenges such as market fluctuations, limited capital, and rising operational costs have significantly impacted MSME performance. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review, the study identifies product diversification, digitalization, and cash flow management as key adaptive strategies. Digitalization improves competitiveness and operational efficiency, while financial literacy and daily cash tracking strengthen business resilience. The study also highlights the critical role of government support and cross-sector collaboration in building a sustainable MSME ecosystem. Through the development of leading products based on local wisdom, communities can create added value and expand market access. Thus, local economic innovation plays an important role in strengthening regional competitiveness while promoting sustainable economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of the dependency ratio, government expenditure on education, and government expenditure on health on the poverty level in Parepare City, as well as to explore the role of local economic innovation in poverty alleviation. The method used is descriptive quantitative with secondary time series data from 2014–2019. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression with SPSS 16. The results show that the dependency ratio has a positive and significant effect on poverty levels, while government expenditure on education and health has a negative and significant effect on poverty levels. In addition, local economic innovations such as strengthening MSMEs, utilizing regional leading sector potentials, and entrepreneurship training based on local resources have proven to play an important role in creating community economic independence and accelerating sustainable poverty reduction. Astra Daihatsu Alauddin https://jurnal.umpar.ac.id/economos/article/view/3983 <p><em>Employee performance is a critical determinant of organizational success and is strongly influenced by the extent of organizational support. Perceived Organizational Support (POS) has received significant attention in organizational behavior research, as it represents employees’ perceptions of the extent to which the organization values their contributions and cares about their well-being. This study aims to investigate the effect of POS on employee performance at PT Astra Daihatsu Alauddin. A quantitative research design was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees. Responses were measured using a Likert scale and analyzed with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21 to examine the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that organizational support has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Employees who perceive higher levels of support from the organization demonstrate greater job achievement, stronger commitment, and increased productivity. These results highlight the importance of organizational strategies that cultivate supportive environments, including recognition, fair treatment, and adequate resource provision. Enhancing POS not only improves individual performance but also strengthens long-term organizational effectiveness.
